![]() Until now I am using the free version enjoying all the features explained earlier. Read more about the features of this great application here. The most noticeable restriction in the free version will be the limitation of maximum three documents and 100 elements. At the time of writing the cost for Mindly Plus is 7,99 € and Mindly For Mac is 32.99 €. The free version is the Mindly grind and available on iOS and Android phones and tablets. Read more about the company here.Īt current, there are three flavours of the application (or “grinds” as Dripgrind calls it) - Mindly, Mindly Plus and Mindly For Mac. They do “mobile application development” on iOS and Android platforms. Mindly was developed by the Finish company Dripgrind OY. To categorise it, I’d say it’s somewhere between a mind-mapping tool and a note-taking application. It’s more than the traditional mind-mapping tool as we know it. It’s not just doing it, it does it brilliantly with an intuitively slick design, according to my humble opinion. Yes, you probably sensed my build up, the application called Mindly does all that. Being able to share your work easily proves to be a desired feature. Great would also be if it safely keeps your work accessible and available for other devices. The use of such tool is often during meetings or brainstorming sessions where it’s important not to break the trial of thoughts. ![]() ![]() What it comes down to, is a solution making it easy to capture and connect notes and ideas visually without distractions. While I am at it, this is not an in-depth product review. That reminds me before I continue, I am not paid by anyone to do marketing for any of the products mentioned in this article. Oh, did I mention, I am a sucker for Visio and making those flowcharts too. It was more the idea of getting another “cool” application to “play” with. I started believing that the need for such tool was not really there. Of course, it’s a bigger disappointment if I’d spent money and within days I was back to pen and paper. Neither did the operating system it runs on, having tested on Windows, Linux and Mac extensively. If it was a free version or I had to pay for it played little part. But when it comes to an application with a clever interface visually capturing ideas efficiently in shapes (circles, ovals, boxes… you name it) and logically connecting them? Not one so far. Note-taking applications sure, there are a lot of them. However, until a couple of days ago I never found a complete solution. Personally, mind-mapping tools fascinate me.
